Meet Lisa
Lisa is the owner and head florist here at The Rosy Posy! She first fell in love with floral design when she was just 15 years old after discovering her natural talent for the art. Growing up in York, England (one of the oldest cities in England!) Lisa learned classic floral design and mastered in European wedding design. After attending college, she traveled throughout the world completing programs and taking classes from other masters of floral design.
Knowing that she wanted to open her own business, Lisa went back to school and got a degree in accounting. She worked within brick and mortar stores all over the world, while traveling with her husband (a 21 year U.S. Navy veteran). Whilst stationed in Hawaii, Lisa opened her own store called The English Rose, she owned and operated the store for 7 years. She did all this while raising her 3 beautiful daughters!
After moving back to the continental U.S. and her husband returning from deployment, Lisa decided to focus on her passion for wedding and event florals.
Designing florals for weddings is what bring Lisa joy and gives her that feel-good factor we all strive to achieve!
In January 2019, The Rosy Posy was born! We have the most amazing team and Lisa’s girls and husband often help out.
For Lisa this is truly a dream come true!
